it is having rotten egg like smell it turns lead acetate paper black

greenish yellow in colour it turns blue Litmus red and finally bleaches at it turns moist starch iodide paper blue black

HCl

2. H2S can be identified by firstly adding lead acetate strip in water and check for a colour if it is present, strips will change colour.

3. Cl2 make damp iodide paper blue-black and it turns blue litmus paper red.

4. HCl in aqueous solution can be identified by adding silver nitrate solution and wait till white precipitate forms.
