a1 = 3(1) + 7  

a2 = 10

On putting n = 2 in eq 1,

On putting n = 3 in eq 1,

a3 = 3(3) + 7  

a3 = 9 + 7

a3 = 16

Common difference,d = a2 - a1

d = 13 - 10

d = 3
