India is Federal type of democratic country. There are near about 29 it's it's in India and having different languages and culture. The regional party is a byproduct of anti democratic action taken by the previous Central governments. Mr NT Rama Rao was the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh with the popular votes and that time Indian Prime Minister Mrs Indira Gandhi put pressure to disqualified him and there was president rule in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The birth of Regional parties is and due to negligence from the union government for their problems.
Now most of now most of the Indian states are having popular Regional parties like the oldest Regional parties is DMK and anna DMK. After the success of DMK and ADMK this disease spreading throughout India. In Uttar Pradesh Samajwadi Party Bahujan Samaj party another lot of parties in Bihar popular Regional parties Rashtriya Janata Dal state of Orissa it is Biju Janata Dal West Bengal it is Suman Congress then in state of Jharkhand is Jharkhand Mukti morcha like this so many parties are there in India which which are represented by the regional feelings.
The Regional parties are dangerous for our Indian democracy and there are a lot of holes trading take place in Parliament and this regional party gain lot of money and power.
