Answer:Congruent means, same shape and size. " The diagonals of a rectangle are congruent" means diagonals of a rectangle are same in length.

All the properties of a parallelogram apply (the ones that matter here are parallel sides, opposite sides are congruent, and diagonals bisect each other).

All angles are right angles by definition.

but we know, diagonals of square are also congruent so, directly,we can't write it converse .

if diagonals are congruent of a parallelogram,it will be either rectangle or square.

or you can write " if diagonals are congruent, it may be rectangle. "

as to prove congruent we have to prove any three things so they are as follows :-

1). as it has the 90°

2).both are equal

3).both are perpendicular bisector ....
