Write the coordinates of a point on X-axis at a distance of 6 units from origin in the negative direction of X-axis and another point on y-axis at a distance of 7 units in the positive direction of y-axis.

Question 1) :- Write the coordinates of a point on X-axis at a distance of 6 units from origin in the negative direction of X-axis ?

Answer :-

  • Co - ordinate of y on x - axis is equal to 0.
  • So, from image we have ,6 unit from origin in the negative direction or x - axis is = (-6, 0) .

Question 2) The coordinates of a point on y-axis at a distance of 7 units in the positive direction of y-axis. ?

Answer :-

  • Co - ordinate of x on y - axis is equal to 0.
  • So, from image we have ,7 unit from origin in the Positive direction or y - axis is = (0, 7) .
