Distance of a point from x-axis is called its y-coordinate or ordinate.

Ordinate=2units

Distance of a point from x-axis is called its x-coordinate or abscissa.

Abscissa=3units

Thus, the coordinates of the point =(abscissa,ordinate)=(3,2)

I hope my ans helps.
