Anide is where oxidation takes place and it's the (-)terminal. Usually electrons are accumulated here.


Cathode is where reduction take place and it's positive. If stuff gets deposited. Then this is the place. Also gases are more likely to be released here as most ions gain electrons from anide and bacon's stable here.
