Given :-  \frac{1}{11}  \frac{13}{4}   \:   \frac{ - 18}{7}   \: 1 \frac{2}{5}  \: 3 \frac{1}{2}

To Find:- Decimal forms of the given.

SOLUTION :-

 \frac{1}{11}  = 0.0909

  • It is a non-terminating repeating decimal number.

 \frac{13}{4}  = 3.25

  • It is a terminating decimal number.

 -  \frac{18}{7}  =  - 2.571

  • It is a terminating negative decimal number.

1 \frac{2}{5}  =  \frac{7}{5}  = 1.4

  • It is a terminating decimal number.

 - 3 \frac{1}{2}  =   - \frac{7}{2}  =  - 3.5

  • It is a terminating negative decimal number.

Note:

A terminating decimal number has an end digit. Example 1.4, 1.35, 0.15

A non-terminating decimal number has no end digit.

Example : 4.232323, 3.333, 6.2777
