When two lines meet each other at right angle then those lines are referred to as perpendicular lines. When a line intersects another line at 90º then we say that the line is perpendicular to it. The symbol used for the perpendicular is ‘⊥’. For example, if line L1 meets line L2 at90º then we can say thatL1and L2are perpendicular to each other and can be represented as L1 ⊥ L2.
