We know the degree of a polynomial is the value of the highest exponent of that polynomial.

i) 3y³-x²y²+4x

Answer - Here, 3 is the highest exponent in the polynomial

∴ Degree = 3

ii) p³q² - 6p²q^5 + p⁴q⁴

Answer - Here, 5 is the highest exponent in the polynomial.

∴ Degree = 5

iii) -8mn^6 + 5m³n

Answer - Here, 6 is the highest exponent in the polynomial.

∴ Degree = 6

iv) 3x²y + y²

Answer - Here, 2 is the highest exponent in the polynomial

∴ Degree = 2

v) 3x - 15

Answer - Here, 1 is the highest exponent in the polynomial.

∴ Degree = 1

vi) 2y²z + 9yz³

Answer - Here, 3 is the highest exponent in the polynomial.

∴ Degree = 3
