The cerebrum is the largest and most complex of all the parts of the human brain. It consists of left and right hemispheres considered by a large bundle of myelinated (conducting nerves or fibres which help in passage of impluses) fibres, the corpus callosum and other smaller fibre bundles. Left cerebral hemisphere is smaller than the right (regards to the disposition of the skull and placement of it).

On the other hand;

Cerebellum is the second largest part of the human brain is the Cerebellum (means simply "little brain"). It is well developed in human brain. It consists of two lateral cerebellar hemispheres and central worm-shaped part, the vermis. Like the cerebrum, the Cerebellum has its grey matter on the outside, comprising of three layers of cells and fibres.

In a nutshell.....

1) Cerebrum is a part of the fore brain or the frontal brain
Cerebellum is the part of the hind brain or the posterior brain

2) Cerebrum consists of two cerebral hemispheres
Cerebellum consists of two cerebellar hemispheres and a vermis.

3) In Cerebrum Arbor Vitae is absent
In Cerebellum Arbor Vitae is present

At last for you to help.

4) It (Cerebrum) contains various functional areas. It is mainly concerned with intelligence, memories, etc.
Cerebellum maintains posture and equilibrium.

DavidOtunga: And yes the middle layer of Cerebellum consists of purkunje fibres which is a complex neuron.
DavidOtunga: If you cannot understand the meaning of arbor vitae it is literally called tree of life or the branching tree like arrangement between white and grey matters.
