Civil rights movement-In USA (1954-1968),this refers to a set of events and reform movement aimed at abolishing legal racial discrimination against African-Americans and restoring voting rights them whereas ,Black power was movement started by Black people in 1966 in USA against racism and the practice of apartheid and lasted till 1975 . It was a militant movement advocating even violence it necessary to end racism in the US.

The main difference between the Civil Rights Movement and the Black Power movement was that they both had a different approach towards the same goal. The goal of both movements was to end racial discrimination against the Afro-Americans.
However, the Civil Rights Movement was a non-violent movement whereas the Black Power movement was a violent movement.
