You see, mate, when we refer to the word "house" we mean, umm, things like cement, bricks, frames, doors, etc. Whereas, if we regard the term home, we involve feelings and emotions, you see.

Generally speaking, the word house represents materialistic things that i've already mentioned. But home represents a plethora of emotions and feelings.

A house is not home. The family, its emotions, its feelings, and its sacrifices to build that property are what make a house a home, you see.
