write the difference between light reaction and dark reaction ?

viren07: both are part of photosynthesis in light reaction ( photosystem which are present in thylokoid membrane in chloroplast) use sun light produce NADH this called light because it need light
viren07: dark reaction are synthesis phase it happen in strom reagion of thylokoid here Calvin cycle perform by which starch form ( PGA)
khanvilkarrathotc1lg: thanks
viren07: no bro it ok
viren07: if have doubt than tell me i send you pic or material on this topic
khanvilkarrathotc1lg: no its ok
viren07: *you
viren07: ok

The correct answer is:
LIGHT REACTION
Light reaction is the stage of photosynthesis which occurs only in the presence of sunlight and it is dependent on the light to perform its work. it takes place in the grana thylakoid membrane of the chloroplast. the grana thylakoid is responsible for trapping the solar energy for photosynthesis.

DARK REACTION
Dark reaction is the stage of photosynthesis which occurs in the presence or absence of the light. It is not dependent on light to perform its reaction. It takes place in the Stroma of the chloroplast. The stroma is responsible for enzymatic reaction to synthesise of glucose to form starch.

Light reactions need light to produce organic energy molecules (ATP and NADPH).
Dark reactions make use of these organic energy molecules (ATP and NADPH).
