Pleiotropy - refers to one gene influencing many traits. Example: If one gene determined two traits that were different from one another. Making up an easy example it could be one gene determines both hair colour and length of claws in cats.

Polygenic Inheritance - refers to many genes (2 or more) affecting one trait.
