Sedentary Primative Farming:

⭐ In this method , same fields are cultivated again and again after a short period of fallowing.

⭐ Organic fertilizers, especially animal manure and night soil are used to increase soil fertility.

⭐ Crop rotation increases soil fertility.Nitrogen fixing crops are alternated with grains and fibre crops to restore fertility of the soil.

Intensive Framing:

⭐ Intensive Framing is practised in regions with large population.

⭐ The large part of this enters national trade.

⭐ Intensive tillage generates high yields from every square foot of land.

⭐ Plenty of organic and chemical fertilizers are used to ensure high yields.

Shifting agriculture:

⭐ In shifting agriculture,after two or three years of producing vegetable and grain crops on cleared land,the cultivators abandon it for another newly cleared land.

⭐ Trees and bushes are cleared by slashing,the remaining vegetation is burnt. These ashes add potash to the soil.

⭐ This is also known as slash and burn vegetation.

⭐ Crude farming methods and implements such as sticks,hoes,picks are used.
