Difference between scaler and vector :-

  • scalar has only magnitude whereas vector has both magnitude and direction .
  • scalars can change if their magnitude changes whereas the vectors can change if other magnitude direction or both change.
  • scalar can be added according to ordinary laws of algebra whereas vectors can be added Only by using special law of vector addition .
