Answer:

The main difference between series and parallel circuits is that, in series circuits, all components are connected in series so that they all share the same current whereas, in parallel circuits, components are connected in parallel so that they all have the same potential difference between them

Series Circuit :

1) In series circuit , all the electrical appliances work simultaneously when switch is closed.

2) In this circuit if any of the electrical appliance goes out of order , the other appliance also stop working .

3) In This Circuit , the same voltage of the main line is not available to all the electrical appliances.

Parallel Circuit :

1) In a parallel circuit , all one electrical appliance work independently .

2) In a parallel circuit , if one electrical appliance goes out of order appliances continue to work .

3) In a parallel circuit , the same voltage of the main line is available to all the electrical appliances.
