Hey mate here is your answer...

Fractional distillation allows you to separate liquids that have close boiling points with the use of a distilation column. Simple distillation is usefull only to purify one liquid if the impurities don't have boiling points close to the liquid being distilled.

Hope it helps you........!☺️☺️

simple distillation is the process of seperation of two liquids having good difference in their boiling points.

⏭️Simple distillation works when the differences in boiling points between the compounds are greater than each other.

⏭️Both start out with a heating device and a still pot.

⏭️The liquid in the still pot is heated until the first component boils and starts to evaporate.

fractional distillation is the process of seperation of 2 or more liquids with the difference of 25 degree or more in their boiling points

⏭️fractional distillation, the vapor moves up the fractionating column.

⏭️Inside this column are several cooling trays.

⏭️ The vapor will condense as it reaches the trays, and only the vapor with the lowest boiling point will then move into the condenser where it is converted back to its liquid form.

⏭️In a simple distillation, since the components+ have such varying boiling points there is no need for a fractionating column.

⏭️ The liquid is brought to a boil in the still.
