skeletal equation →1- it is an unbalanced equation .
2- it only shows the reaction

balanced equation →1- it is a balanced equation
2- it also shows the number of molecules of reactant and product.

skeletal equation

  • in skeletal chemical equation the number of atoms of each element on both the sides of the equation are not equal.
  • it just shows the reaction.

ex- Mg + HCL = MgCl2 + H2

balanced equation

  • in balanced equation the number of atoms of each element on both the sides of the equation are equal.
  • it shows number of molecules of each reactant to be needed and numbers of molecules  of the product formed.

ex- Mg + 2HCL = MgCl2 + H2

hope it will help you ^_^ ^_^
