Answer:

Heterotrophs obtain their energy directly or indirectly from other organisms, while autotrophs obtain energy from inorganic sources, where they convert light energy (sunlight) into chemical energy. Heterotrophs depend on autotrophs for their food, while autotrophs are not.

Answer:

Autotrophs- The organisms which can make food themselves from simple substances (like carbon dioxide and water) by the process of photosynthesis.. All green plants are autotrophs..

Heterotrophs- The organisms which cannot make food themselves by the process of photosynthesis and take food from green plants or animals are called heterotrophs.. all the animals (including human beings) are categorised as heterotrophs bcoz they cannot make food their own.

I hope it helps
