Here is yr answer....


The given quadratic equation is 8x^2 +5x = 7

=> 8x^2 +5x -7 = 0

a = 8 , b = 5 , c = -7



Discriminant (D) = b^2 - 4ac

D = 5^2 - 4 (8) (-7)

D = 25 +224

D = 249


Therefore, the roots are real and different
