Step-by-step explanation:

(x + 5) = 2(5x - 3) \\ \\  x + 5 = 10x - 6 \\  \\ x - 10x =  - 6 - 5 \\ \\   - 9x =  - 11 \\ \\  x =  \frac{11}{9}

Answer:

( x +5) = 2(5x - 3)

( x +5) = 10x -6

x + 5 -10x + 6 =0

11 - 10x = 0

Since this is not a quadratic equation..... it has no discriminant........
