Write the distribution of electrons in an atom of element whose atomic number is 18. What is special about the outermost shell of atom in this element ?

It is a noble gas because the Electronic Configuration of the atom of the element is 2,8,8 therefore its outermost orbit is full and it cannot take part anymore to combine with another atom. ( The atom of the element is Argon)
