Step-by-step explanation:

Another Rule For 11

Subtract the last digit from a number made by the other digits. If that number is divisible by 11 then the original number is, too.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

the divisibility rule of 11 is: For example let's take a number like.......110!!

The unit's place is the 1st place and the tens place will be the 2nd place and the hundreds place will obviously be the 3rd place and it will keep on going like that!!

We already know that odd numbers are 1, 3, 5, 7.....etc

and the even numbers are 2, 4, 6, 8.......etc

We should add the numbers in the odd places and the numbers in the even places separately.

So, we should had the numbers in the 1st and the 3rd places separately and we should keep the number in the 2nd place has it is because we need to numbers to add and we don't have 4th place and then we should subract the sum of he odd places and the even places.

So, our example number is 110

1st place + 3rd place - 2nd place

=1 + 0 - 1

=1 - 1

=0

Now if the answer you get after subracting is 0,1 or 11 then the number is divisible by 11.

So 110 is divisible by 11.

The three examples which are divisible by 11 are 220,330,440

NOTE: Please don't worry my answer is only big and this method will take less time to do!!!
