Firstly let me brief you about smog. The term smog was coined as a contraction of two separate terms, smoke and fog. It is a form of intense air pollution. Today, we have classified smog as-:

1) Classical smog

2) Photochemical smog

Now i would like to elucidate photochemical smog. This smog is produced as a result of the effect of sunlight on oxides of nitrogen and other hydrocarbons.

The effects of phtochemical smog include:

1) Respiratory diseases

2) Cataract

3) Skin cancer

4) Effects the monuments

5) Adverse effects on plants and animals
