It’s really simple.

Equation of the X -axis is y=0 right ?

As we can see the slope of the X -axis is 0 which means, any line that is parallel to the X -axis has the same slope.

So,

y=mx+c

Hence (−2,4) is in the line,

4=0∗−2+c

c=4

Hence, y=0+4————−>y=4

So the equation is y=4
