To find :

Solution :

$\implies \: x + \dfrac{1}{x} = - 2$

LCM of x and 1 = x

$\implies \dfrac{ {x}^{2} + 1}{x} = - 2$

Now cross multiply :-

$\implies { {x}^{2} + 1} = - 2x$

$\implies { {x}^{2} + 1} + 2x = 0$

$\implies { {x}^{2} + 2x + 1} = 0$

Answer :

x²+2x+1=0 is in the form of ax²+bx+c=0.
