x - 4 = √3y

it can be written as,

x - √3y -4 = 0

The general equation is:

ax + by + c =0

compare  x - √3y -4 = 0  with ax + by + c =0,

so,

a = 1,  b = -√3  and c = - 4.

Hence the value of a, b and c are 1, -√3 and - 4 respectively.
