The gravitational potential energy of a body at a height is measured by the amount of work done in moving it up to that height against the force of gravity acting on the body.
The expression used for gravitational potential energy is mgh.
where, m = mass of the body
g = acceleration due to gravity
h = height from the ground.
HOPE IT HELPS!
