Let @=1 and ß= -1/4 be the zeros of the required polynomial

A polynomial can be found out by the following:

x²-(@+ß)x+@ß

Now,

@+ß

=1-1/4

=(4-1)/4

=3/4

and

=1(-1/4)

= -1/4

Thus, substituting the values,

x²-(@+ß)x+@ß

=x²-(-3/4)x-1/4

Multiplying the whole equation by 4,

=4x²+3x-1

What is quadratic polynomial?

A quadratic polynomial is a mathematical expression which is of the form ax²+bx+c where a≠0.

Degree of a quadratic polynomial is 2

Sum of zeros: -x coefficient/x²coefficent

Product of zeros: constant term/x²coefficient
