The features of equipments used in Cricket are as :

1.  Bat : Bat is used to hit the ball. It is made of wood and willow wood is mostly preferred. The length and breadth of the bat used in International cricket match must be 965 mm and 108 mm respectively.

2.  Ball : Ball consists of cork and is covered with leather. The weight and circumference of the ball for men in international matches must be 5.5 to 5.75 oz (156 to 163 g) and 8.81 to 9 in (224 to 229 mm)  respectively.

3.  Cricket pads : Cricket pads  are made up of high density foam or leather and cotton and are used to protect the lower limbs.

4.  Helmet : It is made up of metal and synthetic light materials is used to protect the head and face of cricketer.

5.  Thigh Pad : It is foam and cotton and is used to protect thighs.

6.  Abdominal Guard : It is used to protect the reproductive parts of body.

7.  Gloves : Gloves are made up of foam and rubber or cotton and are used to protect hands.

8.  Arm-Saver : It is used to protect upper limbs of cricketer.
