a2=a+d
= 4+(-3)
=4-3 = 1
a3=a+2d
=4+2(-3)
=4-6

a4 = a+3d
=4+3(-3)
=4-9

Hi Mate !!
First term ( a ) = 4
Common difference ( d ) = ( - 3 )
• To find the nth term of A.P we have formula as :-
an = a + ( n - 1 )d
♯ Second term ( n = 2 )
a2 = 4 + ( 2 - 1 ) × ( - 3 )
= 4 - 3
= 1
♯ Third term ( n = 3 )
a3 = 4 + 2 × ( - 3 )
= 4 - 6
= - 2
♯ Fourth term ( n = 4 )
a4 = 4 + 3 × ( - 3 )
= 4 - 9
= - 5
So, the AP are :-
4 , 1 , (- 2 ) , ( - 5 ) .....
