1÷11 can also be written as 1/11. So, it is a rational number. To check whether it is terminating or not we have to follow certain steps:

1) convert the fraction in its lowest term

2) do prime factorization of the denominator

3) if the factors are other than 2 or 5, then its a non terminating decimal

Prime factorization of 11= 11×1

As the factors are other than 2 or 5, it is a non terminating decimal.
