Place values on the right side of decimal are :

• Tenths. (1/10)
• Hundredths. (1/100)
• Thousandths. (1/1000)
• Ten thousandths. (1/1000) .

Solution :-

Value of each of the given digits is :-

• 5 Hundreds = 5 × 100 = 500
• 3 tens = 3 × 10 = 30
• 8 ones = 8 × 1 = 8
• 4 tenths = 4 × (1/10) = (4/10)

So,

→ 5 Hundreds + 3 tens + 8 ones + 4 tenths = 500 + 30 + 8 + (4/10)

→ 5 Hundreds + 3 tens + 8 ones + 4 tenths = 538 + 0.4

→ 5 Hundreds + 3 tens + 8 ones + 4 tenths = 538.4 (Ans.)

Hence, the decimal form is equal to 538.4 .
