\sf{Answer:}

Standard forms :

(i)  {x }^{2}  - x - 3 = 0

Values of a, b and c are,

a = 1, b = -1, c = -3

(ii) 2 {x}^{2}  - 5x + 7 = 0

Values of a, b and c are,

a = 2, b = -5, c = 7

Standard form of a quadratic equation :

The standard form of a quadratic equation is said to be

\boxed{a {x}^{2}  + bx + c = 0}
