ii) A person travels 90 km by train and taxi to reach his office. The distance travelled by train is twice the distance travelled by taxi.

1) let the present age of naresh = x
the present age of daughter = y
nareshs age seven years ago = x-7
seven time the age of daughter
x-7 = 7y
x-7y = 7
naresh age three years from now = x +3
three times the age of daughter
x+3 = 3y
x - 3y = -3
2) let the distance travelled by the taxi = x
the distance travelled by train = twice of x
= 2x
total distance travelled by both train and taxi= 90
x + 2x = 90
