Write the following statements as equations:

(i) Five added to twice a number gives 51.

(ii) One-fifth of 8 taken away from twice a number equals 3.

(iii) The sum of two consecutive even numbers is 102.

(iv) Half of the sum of a number and 5 is 6.

(i) 2x + 5 = 51

(ii) 2x - (8 / 5 ) = 3

(iii) (x + x + 2) = 102

(iv) (x + 5 )/2 = 6
