Before cloud formation, water take some heat from the atmosphere to change into vapour. This heat is realesed back into the atmosphere, when water vapour changes to form liquid as rain drops. The atmospheric heat warms the air around. The warm air rises up and create a low pressure.More air rushes to the centre of the storm. These cycle is repeated with the formation of a very low pressure system with very high speed winds revolving around it.
Effects:-
The main effects oftropical cyclonesinclude heavyrain, strongwind, largestorm surgesatlandfall, andtornadoes. The destruction from a tropical cyclone depends mainly on itsintensity, its size, and its location. Tropical cyclones act to remove forest canopy as well as change the landscape near coastal areas, by moving and reshaping sand dunes and causing extensive erosion along the coast. Even well inland, heavy rainfall can lead to mudslides and landslides in mountainous areas. Their effects can be sensed over time by studying the concentration of the Oxygen-18 isotope within caves within the vicinity of cyclones' paths.

Tropical cyclones also called typhoon or hurricane, an intense circular storm. the fuel for the tropical is provided by the transfer of water vapour and heat from the warm ocean to the overlying air primarly by evaporation from the sea surface. As the warm, moist air rises, it expands and cools quickly becoming saturated and releasing latent heat through the condensation of water vapour. The column of air in the core of the developing disturbance is warmed and moistened by this process. The temperature difference between the warm, rising air and cooler environment causes the rising air to become buoyant, further enchancing its upward movement
