Write the formula for acceleration. When will you say a body is in, (i) uniform acceleration? (ii) nonuniform acceleration?​

  • Acceleration is defined as the rate of change of velocity. In SI it is measured in ms‐²
  • Formula -

a =  \frac{v - u}{t}

we can say a body in

  • (i) Uniform Acceleration:- The Acceleration of the object is said to be uniform, if its velocity increases or decreases by equal amount in equal intervals of time.

  • (ii) Non uniform Acceleration:- The Acceleration of the object is said to be non uniform, if its velocity changes at a non uniform rate.
