Here is your answer.....

____________________________________

✔ Calcium(Ca) atomic number= 20

✔ electronic configuration= 2,8,8,2

loses two electrons to attend the stable noble gas configuration of argon ,as a result it is converted into calcium ion.

✔ On the other hand , sulphur(S) atomic number =16

✔electronic configuration= 2, 8, 6

✔ Accepts 2 electrons released by Calcium to complete it's octet and acquire stable configuration.

✔ In this process , sulphur is converted into sulphide ion.
