Given equation can be written in standard form as 16x 2 +9y 2 =1

⇒a 2 =16,b 2 =9

⇒a=4,b=3

So eccentricity ,e= 1− a 2b 2 = 1− 169 = 47

Thus foci =(±ae,0)=(± 7 ,0)

Length of latus rectum = a2b 2 = 42⋅9 = 29

And equation of directrices are x=± ea =± 716
