Before cloud formation, water takes up heat from the atmosphere to change into vapour. When water changes back to liquid form as raindrops, this heat released to the atmosphere warms thanks air around. The air tends to rise and causes drop in pressure. More air rushes to the centre of the storm. This cycle is repeated. The chain of events ends with the formation of a very low pressure system with very high speed winds revolving around it. It is called cyclone.

Answer:There are six factors responsible for the formation of the cyclone: (1) Sufficient warm temperature at sea surface (2) atmospheric instability (3) impact area of Coriolis force so that low pressure can be developed (4) high humidity in the lower to middle levels of the troposphere (5) a pre-existing low-level focus
