Khanqah-e-Moula, also known as Shah-e-Hamadan Masjid and Khanqah mosque and first historical masjid in kashmir and this place are known as where sayyid Ali Hamadani start the preaching of Islam and people of Kashmir accept Islam, Khanqah-e-Moula of Sayyid Ali Hamadani located in the city of Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir. It is located in the Old City on the right bank of the river Jhelum between the Fateh Kadal and Zaina Kadal bridges. First built in 1395 AD, it is the first oldest mosques in the Kashmir Valley.It is one of the best examples of Kashmiri wooden architecture,decorated with papier mache.It is referred by Mughal Emperor Jahangir.
