Answer:

The process of photosynthesis is commonly written as: 6CO2 + 6H2O → C6H12O6 + 6O2. This means that the reactants, six carbon dioxide molecules and six water molecules, are converted by light energy captured by chlorophyll (implied by the arrow) into a sugar molecule and six oxygen molecules, the products.

Answer:

Photosynthesis is the process by which chlorophyll containing plants make their food with the help of water in the presence of sunlight and carbon dioxide (Co2) . Water is taken from the roots and transported to the leaves. Carbon dioxide enters the leaves through tiny pores called stomata and diffuses to chlorophyll containing cells. Solar energy is used to break the water in hydrogen and oxygen. This hydrogen is combined with carbon dioxide to produce food. The excess oxygen is released in the air. Thus photosynthesis can also be explained by the following formula -:

Carbon dioxide + water (in the presence of)- sunlight and chlorophyll = carbohydrates (food prepared) + oxygen.
