Write the function of a (1) transducer and (2) repeater in a communication system

(i) Transducer : It is a device which coverts end from one form to another form . eg : Microphone

(ii) Repeater : It is a combination of receiver, amplifier and transmitter. It picks up a signal from the transmitter , amplifies and transmit to the receiver sometimes with a change of carrier frequency .
