hello there,
the hind brain itself is a beautiful part of the body.the hind brain is also called teh automating part or the reptilian part of the brain.it consist of pons,cerebellum and the famous medulla oblongata  .these guys team up nd does all the automatic body function such as heart beat ,motor control etc.

1.lets start with pons;
its a bulge like structure originating  from the base of the brain (therefore also called brainSTEM).

 pons gives us the sensation and the ability to control our facial muscles such as biting ,chewing swallowing ,movment of the eyeballs etc.

it helps in transmitting sound from our ear to the brain.

The hind brain had a large hole called the foramen magnum which is in the lower part of the hind brain
It is the place where the spinal cord touches the brain and goes back to the lower part of the hip
