Write the function of forebrain,medulla,and cerebellum in human brain.

(A) Forebrain comprises of :-

1. Cerebrum

- It acts as the main thinking part. of. the brain. It is responsible for reasoning, speech, hearing and usage of information

2. Olfactory lobes

- These are responsible for detecting smell

3. Hypothalamus

- This part of brain controls temparature

(B) Midbrain

-it connects forebrain to hindbrain

(C) Hindbrain

It provides connection between spinal chord and rest of the brain.

It comprises of :

1. cerebellum

- It controls and coordinates different muscular actions.

It is responsible for maintaining posture of body

2. Pons

- It takes part in respiration

3. Medulla

- It controls involuntary action
