the functions of Mitochondria are as follows

⚫ release of energy from pyruvic acid produced in cytoplasm in the form of ATP
⚫ mitochondria is the seat of cellular respiration and stores energy
⚫ synthesis of respiratory enzymes

the functions of Golgi Complex are as follows
⚫ synthesis and secretion of enzymes hormones etc
⚫ formation of acrosome of sperm

hope it helps

Heya !

Here's your answer !!

_________________________

FUNCTION OF MITOCHONDRIA

□ Sites of cellular respiration

□ They use carbohydrates and fats present in the cell to carbon dioxide and water vapour.

□ Oxidation releases energy, a portion of which is used to form ATP.

□ Since the mitochondria synthesize, energy-rich compounds, they are known as power house of the cell.

□ The energy stored in the ATP is used by the cell.

FUNCTION OF GOLGI APPARATUS

□ It packages materials synthesized in the cell and dispatches them either to intracelluler targets.

□ It is involved in the synthesis of cell wall, plasma membrane and lysosomes.
