Mouth- to grind the food using teeth and tongue helps to mix saliva with food to make the food soften down.

Then, food passes through Oesophagus (Food pipe).

Stomach- It adds gastric juice to it. Gastric juices includes HCL, Pepsin and Mucus. It breaks the food into smaller molecules

Then food passes into small intestine.

Small intestine- Here, the nutrients for food essential for body is absorbed by hair like substance in intestinal wall known as villi.

Then, it goes to large intestine where excess water is removed.

Then, waste food is stored in Rectum and it goes out of the body through Anus.
